Currently in my last year studying towards an Honours Degree in Sound Production. Experienced and capable across all capacities of sound. Including; live engineering, studio mixing and mastering, audio post, spatial audio, musical composition and songwriting. Currently breaking into Glasgow’s live industry and hoping to leave an impression.
Bridging the gap between academia and industry. My work is mainly within the live industry - engineering and roadie work. However, I consider myself multifaceted, working across the entire spectrum of sound.

‘Motion’ is my live diffusion performance for my ElectroAcoustic Practices module during my 4th year of studying. ‘Motion’ was diffused through a quadrophonic playback system to a small audience. The piece was designed to encourage audience participation and fluidity as sound is diffused between the 4 sound sources. This piece highlights my technical knowledge working performing with spatial audio and also my artistic creativity as composer/producer/performer.
My mix of The Girobabies’ ‘Her Fancy Man’ from their latest album - ‘Dreams are Mental’. My mix is not the version of ‘Her Fancy Man’ on the album. Rather, Morphamish at Sound Sound Studio mixed the entirety of the ‘Dreams are Mental’ album. Morphamish used my recording for mix on the album.

Nocturnal Creatures’ is a composition of mine which again highlights my creativity and studio ability. Heavily influenced by my own personal tastes in electronic music - particularly minimal techno.
Dataverse IIII’ was a concept project for my Sound for Visual Arts module on my BA where I was given the task of constructing sound for my choice of visual art. I composed audio to accompany Ryoji Ikeda’s ‘Dataverse III’ in creating a fictitious 4th edition to the Dataverse series. My work draws from but does not mimic.
Live Industry
While most of my portfolio is studio centred in music production and sound design, the live industry is where I am currently earning a living - including live engineering and roadie/stage crew work. I am currently employed by South Lanarkshire Council as sound tech for local council events. Work with South Lanarkshire entails stage productions, cover bands, conferences and AV events. Core Crew are a Glasgow based stage crew company with major contracts throughout Scotland. Core crew offer stage assembly/roadie work. As well as this, I am currently receiving a small amount of freelance work - recently for Glasgow City for Alcohol’s 60th birthday conference and covering in ARTA - a small venue in Glasgow city centre.
